Kimberly Hardy, LMHCLead Group Facilitator
Kimberly is a U.S. Navy Veteran, who served on active duty for 6 years and in the reserves for 7 years. While on active duty, she has served as a Victim Advocate for three years for service members who have experienced sexual assault. In the civilian sector, Kimberly holds a Master's in Counseling Psychology and recently completed a PhD in Counselor Education and Supervision from University of the Cumberlands. She is also a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) with 10 years of experience specializing in trauma, group therapy, coping skills, suicidality, and military issues. Kimberly has provided and managed numerous continuing education events through her role as the previous director of Veterans Training Support Center (VTSC), a King County funded project. Currently, Kimberly is employed at Lake Washington Institute of Technology as the Veterans Coordinator, providing a safe space for Veterans to transition into civilian life. Fun fact: Kimberly recently returned from a year billet as Company Commander for recruits going through Navy boot camp.

Rebecca MurchCo-Group Facilitator
Rebecca is a U.S. Navy Veteran, who has experienced Military Sexual Trauma (MST) during her time in service. Since her service she has become a strong advocate for the Veteran community; especially the unique issues experienced by women. Rebecca has been serving the Veteran community in a wide variety of ways for 10+ years. Currently, she is the executive director of the Seattle Stand Down (10 years); a nonprofit organization that assists Veterans who are at risk of or are experiencing homelessness is the general Puget Sound region. Rebecca holds a master’s degree in Counseling (although, not licensed to practice currently). While attending graduate school she participated on the King County MST Advisory workgroup that developed the Military Sexual Trauma (MST) Curriculum for Non-Military Personnel. She also served as the King County regional coordinator for the WDVA Vet Corps program overseeing program Navigators on 15-16 different college campuses. Rebecca also currently serves as the Chief Administrative Officer for FOB Hope, a nonprofit organization that serves Veterans experiencing homelessness in Pierce County.
